Success Stories

On gender equality, we conduct public education, counselling and mentoring programs, training to specific groups, dialogue and networking with stakeholders to facilitate provision of gender needs for women development. We mobilise women to participate in various fora and platforms to advocate for equal participation in development. For a girl child we execute activities that will improve her participation and engagement in basic education equally with a boy.

Gender equality programs aim to ensure positive practices and appreciation of women; access of services and opportunities to women; and gender sensitivity in all aspects of socio-economic development. These programs contribute to implementation of the national gender policy and sustainable development goal 5; ending all forms of discrimination against women and girls is not only a basic human right, but it is also crucial to accelerating sustainable development.
